The controls are simple and intuitive. Tap the left or right arrows to go back or forward a chapter at a time. This app is soooo helpful! I am learning so much. It is very easy to use.
When I first was ordained a minister in the 1980s, I spent two or $300 on a set of Calvins commentaries. Now I use this app which cost me about the price of a hamburger at McDonalds. Now it is possible to get copies of Calvins commentaries absolutely free for your laptop or iPhone. Although this is great, and Im glad they exist, I am more than happy to pay a few dollars for an app that makes navigation so easy and quick. I was also pleased that this app includes the footnotes added by the translator in the printed edition. I find it hard to exaggerate how useful this app is.
What a great resource to have in an app instead of having to haul around several volumes of Calvins commentaries.

This is a good commentary for everyday use and for lesson preparation. It is easy reading and negotiation through the book is very.
I think this app is worth every penny. It has helped me to study the depths of the scriptures and is extremely convenient.

This app is the most convenient alternative to having the all the volumes in hardback. Calvin is one of the greatest writers outside of sacred writ, and he lives inside my pocket.

Its astonishing to me how the Lord in His providence has provided great resources, such as this app. In an era of technology, which is often used for evil, to have access to His Word and a great commentary is unbelievable and you cant put a price on it.
